Full original colour; minor marginal staining at the edges, otherwise a very good example.
This squarer representation of the island was used in many of the Dutch produced atlases. An elephant and a wild boar are part of the decoration, together with ships and compass roses in the sea area. This map is quite different from the earlier editions of Gerard Mercator.
