Uncoloured; some restoration to the margins, short splits at old folds expertly repaired and hardly visible from the front, otherwise a good example.
A fine copper engraving of Westminster Bridge. Originally done by Thomas Wilson in 1747, four years before the bridge was completed. This prospect shows London in great detail at both ends of the bridge, including; Lambeth House, the House of Commons and Westminster Abbey. The beautifully engraved barges and vessels show the great importance of the river at the time, both for leisure and for mercantile activities.

A fascinating plan of the area around Whitehall from a survey done in the reign of King Charles II, 1680. Listed in the key are such places as: The cock pit, the charcoal house, the pastry, the cyder house and the tennis court.

A finely engraved and inexpensive panoramic view of London, showing "modern" St Paul's and the River Thames as far as "old" London Bridge. There are various craft on the water from ferrymen to barges and people can be seen promenading along the embankment.

Shows in great detail Hyde Park and the West End, Regents Park and Hamstead Heath. Produced by Chas. E Goad, Civil Engineer, the scale is one square on the grid equals one square mile. Originally surveyed November 1891 and this one revised in 1902.
