The earliest available printed view of the city of Ulm in Germany. From the 'Nuremberg Chronicle' by Hartman Schedel (1440-1514). One of the earliest examples of printed incunabula available.

A highly detailed plan of the area around Nördlingen a town in the Donau-Ries district of Bavaria, Germany. Located in a the middle of a giant meteorite crater, called the Nördlinger Ries, it lies between the cities of Nürnberg, Stuttgart and Augsburg. It was the site of two battles during the Thirty Year's War, today it is one of only three German towns that can boast a completely established city wall. One of the other main features of this medieval town is the 90m-steeple called "Daniel" forming part of the church of Saint Georg shown in the detailed prospect below the map.
