A map of Australia and New Zealand. Published in Cruchley's 'General Atlas for the use of Schools and Private Tuition'. Dedication to the Prince of Wales.

Condition: Original coloured lithograph; light toning to the centrefold and minor spotting, otherwise a fine example.

FLEISCHER, Gerhard.

Origin: Leipzig, c.1847.

A map of Australasia, with inst map of New South Wales around the area of Botany Bay. The map maker Gerard Fleischer does not appear in the Tooley - Dictionary of Mapmakers, the 1979 edition or the later 2001 Revised Edition, although the name of the engraver H. Leutemann does.

Condition: Uncoloured; signs of old folds (from a smaller volume), minor nicks and a short tear to the lower margin, otherwise very good.

An important map of the South Pacific, showing part of Australia, New Zealand and across to the Society Islands. Indicates the routes made by Cook, Wallis, Carteret, Byron and Mouats. With decorative title cartouche. From 'Atlante Novissimo'.

Condition: Original colour; very light marginal staining, otherwise a good example.

Condition: Original coloured lithograph; signs of old creases, one or two tears expertly repaired, overall a good example.
